TipidBuddy ("we", "our", or "us") is developed and operated by Lazy Panda Labs. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our mobile application TipidBuddy (the "App").
By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
When you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address from Google. This information is stored securely in our database (Firebase) and is used solely to identify your account and sync your data across devices.
If you use the App without signing in, you are assigned an anonymous identifier. No personal information is collected in this case.

We offer sign-in via Google. When you use this feature, Google shares your name and email address with us. We do not receive your Google password. Learn more at policies.google.com/privacy.
We use Google AdMob to display advertisements in the App. AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data to serve personalized or non-personalized ads. We request non-personalized ads by default. Learn more at policies.google.com/technologies/ads.
Premium subscriptions are processed through Google Play. We do not collect or store your payment information. All billing is handled by Google. Learn more at Google Payments Privacy Notice.
We use third-party search APIs to retrieve product listings from Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok Shop. Your search queries are sent to these services to retrieve results. These services do not receive your personal information.
When you use the image search (Snap a Photo) feature, your image is sent to Google Gemini API for product recognition. Images are processed by Google and are not stored by us. Learn more at ai.google.dev/gemini-api/terms.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at the email address below. Anonymous user data may be retained for analytics purposes in aggregated, non-identifiable form.
TipidBuddy is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) and Firebase Security Rules to protect your data. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

The legal basis for processing your data is our legitimate interest in providing the App's core functionality, and your consent for personalized advertising (where applicable).
For advertising consent, we use Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) which will prompt you upon first use of the App if you are located in the EEA.
